New Arrivals
In 2005 we set off for the cob sales to try to purchase Synod Rosie's Gold a yearling Sec C filly (2004) (137614) by Synod Reagan out of Synod Rapunzel. We wanted her as we have Synod Rosalia, also by Reagan, who produces gorgeous foals with our stallion, Rhosymeirch Surprise. Unfortunately she was unable to come to the sales and we came home disappointed. When the catalogue arrived for 2006 imagine my delight as I found she was entered for this year's sale. She wasn't going through the ring until the third day so there were no fingernails leftl by then! I stepped into the stable and she was everything I could have wished for. Deep bodied, bone and feather to die for and the loveliest filly I could have ever wished for. I would have bought her no matter what for the bloodlines but what a gorgeous filly she is. We took her out to one show this Autumn a couple of weeks after getting her and she won, so what more could we ask? We are so proud to own her. Here's to her future as a wife to Surprise. The depth of breeding and quality of pony bred at Synod never wavers from superb. At Hay Sale we purchased a cracking A colt foal called Rosegarth Phantom (2006)(71566) by Dyfed Tiny out of Haltcross Penny by Dyfed Corona). He is like a baby version of our A stallion Carnalw Dewr! We had bought him for someone who asked us to purchase a colt for her but she decided against having him so we now have a new A boy on the block. Super bloke so it's no great hardship to have him live with us!! Escley Partytime (2006) also arrived this autumn. She is a gorgeous chestnut roan Sec A filly foal by Pinewell Bucks Fizz and out of Dyfed Peledrog, and is destined to be a wife to Carnalw Dewr. Very, very pleased with her and she has the greatest character. I think she may have been round once before! She seems to be so very knowing. Hoping Terry may get his running shoes on again this year and show his Sec As for fun.
