Autumn Fever
Just as there is alcoholics anonymous, there should be ponies anonymous! We went to four sales and managed to buy at two of them. Still, using the ?my glass is half full, not half empty? theory 50% good behaviour is any improvement for us. At Hay sale Synod Peggy Sue came home with us. A cracking little mover and with bloodlines to die for, Synod Little Dazzle,x Synod Finesse, Peggy has settled in well and will eventually be what I call a ?silver? pony. You know them, the gorgeous snow white ponies with those huge liquid eyes. Can?t wait to see her at six or seven years old. She also has the most lovely temperament, really kind and a ?people pony? At Brecon sale it was the turn of Afan Cowslip to come home with us. A blonde bombshell this time and with fond connections. Cowslip is a grand daughter of Pendock Buttonhole who we love and got to know well when he was with Adam Fletcher being shown for Miss Phillipson Stow. She is also a gg grand daughter of Craven Ballerina who brings back memories of lovely sunny days in the Cotswolds when Richard Miller was working there and had Ballerina to breed from. The section As are taking over! We have as many of them as Cs now, must be a sign of our age. |
