Always the bridesmaid never the bride seemed to be Surprise's motto. Although he's had loads of wins and championships when it came to the medal shows he always got reserve and missed out. Well it was worth waiting for! At the ripe old age of 9 years, he has finally got his in hand medal, A SILVER ONE! Surprise had won a ridden medal for which we are most grateful but we all covet an in hand medal don't we? At The Royal Cornwall show Surprise pulled out all the stops with Nicky and took the Silver Welsh Ponoy and Cob Society Medal. His sons, Maenan Ronan Keating and Wyedean Chester were third and fourth in their respective classes so it was a great family day out! Many thanks to Nicky and Rob and Karen for producing the boys so beautifully.
