Our stallion, Rhosymeirch Surprise, in the very capable hands of Nicky McCardle, came up trumps and won the Welsh Pony and Cob Society performance Medal at the East Midlands Welsh Pony and Cob Association Show. Having fallen under Surprise's wicked spell Nicky purchased Maenan Captain Corelli, or 'Spawn of Satan' as Nicky calls him on a bad day! The rewards came fast as 'Charlie' won a Welsh Pony and Cob Medal at the tender age of 5 months and was supreme champion at the East Midland WPCA Foal and Youngstock show. Many congratulations! Third one 'in the net' was when Surprise's son, Dhanak RS, owned and bred by Adam Fletcher and Callie Stein won the Welsh Pony and Cob Society Medal at the Midlands Welsh Pony and Cob Association Show and was Reserve Supreme of the Show. Although in no way the first medal Adam and Callie's ponies had won, this was extra special as it was the first won by a Dhanak pony. The first of many we're sure. Well done to RS, Adam and Callie!
