Maenan Caiyo and Maenan Raider (half brothers out of Maenan Ceri) have been taking the driving world by storm. Mrs Betty Powell, having decided to retire her Wembly qualifying ponies, Black and Decker chose Caiyo and Raider as her new team. Skillfully trained by Betty, the boys were virtually unbeaten in 1999 and have set off in great style this year, winning at Windsor and being champions at Newbury. Last weekend, whilst driving in Windsor Castle's Great Park, Caiyo and Raider were greatly admired by a Senior Royal driving enthusiast. Our sincere thanks to Betty for producing Maenan ponies to such a superb standard.
